Miroslav Skalicki has been appointed as the new member of our company’s Management Board. He assumes this position as a representative of the state, bringing with him nearly four decades of extensive experience in the energy sector.

He holds a degree from the Faculty of Mining, Geology, and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Zagreb and completed a postgraduate specialist program in Strategy and Corporate Governance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. He has also attended numerous professional development programs, including the prestigious IMD Business School in Lausanne and the "Corporate Governance for Supervisory and Management Board Members" program.

Mr. Skalicki began his career at the global energy company Shell, where he held various senior positions from 1991 to 2008. He served as General Manager of Shell’s office in Croatia for five years, followed by a role as Regional Director for the Mediterranean, based in Shell’s Milan office. During this time, he played a key role in aligning local operations with Shell’s global corporate standards.

After nearly 20 years in an international corporate environment, he transitioned to entrepreneurship in 2008. For over a decade, he worked as a representative of foreign energy companies and as a business consultant.

In late 2022, he returned to the corporate sector as a member of the Management Board of INA d.d., where he served successfully until early 2025. As of May 2025, he joins the Management Board of Petrokemija d.d.

His unique combination of corporate and entrepreneurial experience makes him a valuable addition to our team. We are confident that his contribution, expertise, and strategic approach will further strengthen our operations and support the continued development of Petrokemija.
